Accessibility Statement
Engle Wash Co. wants every customer to be able to learn about our services and request an estimate on englewashco.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard widely used to judge website accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
What we have done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible outline showing where you are.
- Photos have text descriptions, and the before-and-after sliders can be moved with the arrow keys.
- Text and buttons meet contrast requirements, and pages stay readable when zoomed to 400%.
- Every field on the estimate form has a label, and errors are announced and tied to the field they belong to.
- Animations are brief and are turned off if your device is set to reduce motion.
- We test the site with automated accessibility tools and by hand when we make changes.
Known limitations
A few features come from outside services: the spam check on the estimate form (Google reCAPTCHA), address suggestions (Geoapify), and links to Google, Instagram, and Facebook. We choose services that support accessibility, but we do not control how they work. If any of them gets in your way, contact us directly and we will help.
