House Washing

Soft washing uses low pressure and the right cleaning solutions to remove mold, mildew, and algae from surfaces that high pressure would damage: stucco, painted surfaces, siding, fences, soffits, and more. It cleans at the source, so results last longer.

How We Approach the Job

  1. 1

    Protect plants and property

We wet down landscaping, cover or move anything sensitive, and check that windows and doors are closed before any solution goes on.

  2. 2

    Apply and let it work

A low-pressure application of cleaning solution treats the growth itself rather than blasting at it. It is given time to dwell so it kills mold and algae at the root.

  3. 3

    Rinse gently

A low-pressure rinse carries the loosened material off the surface, followed by a fresh-water rinse of nearby plants.

The Benefits

  • Kills mold and algae rather than just knocking it off, so the surface stays clean longer
  • Safe for stucco, paint, and siding that pressure washing can chip, etch, or force water behind
  • Restores the color of a faded, streaked exterior in a single visit
  • Improves curb appeal and protects the finish

Good to Know

  • Close all windows and doors and unlock gates so we can reach every side of the home
  • Keep pets inside during the wash
  • Move cushions, decorations, and fragile items away from the walls
  • Some staining such as rust or oxidation is not organic and may need specialty treatment; we will point out anything we do not expect to clear

House Washing Questions

Is soft washing safe for my plants?

Yes, with the precautions we take. Plants are wet down before we start and rinsed with fresh water afterward, and we keep solution off anything sensitive. This is a standard part of every house wash.

How often should a Florida home be washed?

For most homes, every one to two years keeps mold and algae from taking hold. Shaded, north-facing, or heavily landscaped homes may need it more often. We can suggest a schedule after seeing the property.

What is the difference between soft washing and pressure washing?

Pressure washing relies on force and is right for durable surfaces like concrete. Soft washing relies on cleaning solutions applied at low pressure and is right for delicate surfaces like stucco, paint, and siding. Many homes need both, and we quote them together.
