How We Approach the Job

Assess the surface
Concrete, pavers, travertine, and stone each need a different approach. We check the material, the joints, and any existing sealer before choosing pressure and solutions.

Pretreat and clean
A cleaning solution loosens algae, mildew, and embedded dirt first. Concrete is cleaned evenly with a surface cleaner; pavers and stone get controlled pressure with attention to the joints, minimizing unnecessary joint sand loss.

Rinse and inspect
A thorough rinse carries the loosened material off the surface and away from landscaping. We walk the area with you and point out anything that would benefit from re-sanding or sealing.

Good to Know

- Some loosening of old, degraded joint sand during paver cleaning is normal
- Re-sanding and sealing are separate services, inspected and quoted when wanted

Pavers, Concrete, & Patios Questions
Will pressure washing damage my concrete or pavers?
Not when the pressure matches the material. Concrete is cleaned with a surface cleaner at a setting that avoids the etched stripes a hand wand leaves. Pavers, travertine, and stone are cleaned more gently with attention to the joints. Pretreating first means less force is needed everywhere.
Do you re-sand or seal pavers?
Cleaning is quoted on its own. If you want sanding or sealing afterward, we inspect the surface and quote it separately so you know exactly what is included, and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth doing.
How long does a driveway take?
Most residential driveways take one to two hours including pretreatment and rinsing. Larger areas, pavers, or heavy buildup take longer, and we give you a time estimate with your quote.
Will all the stains come out?
Organic growth, which is most of what you see, cleans up well. Mineral stains such as efflorescence and rust, and oil that has soaked in, are different and may need specialty treatment. We point out anything we do not expect to fully clear before we start.
